Lions Club sponsors successful blood drive

To the Editor and Monticello community,

     The Monticello Lions Club would like to thank the Monticello community and the neighboring communities for supporting and donating blood for the Red Cross Blood Drive.

     We had a total of 67 donors who were able to donate 73 units of blood. We also had five deferrals who were unable to donate. Thank you to the donors and the others who volunteered to donate but were unable. The Monticello Lions and the Red Cross appreciates your dedication to your community.

     The Lions would also like to thank the Monticello Fareway store, Monticello Rotary, and the Monticello Express for all their support in making the Red Cross Blood Drive a success.
