Luensman competes at national meet

     Chase Luensman went 1-2 and saw his season come to an end with the Upper Iowa University wrestling team at the NCAA Division II Wrestling Champiohships March 12 in St. Louis, Mo.

     Luensman, a sophomore wrestling at 157 pounds, opened with a 10-0 major decision win over Colby Teague of Mount Olive. Luensman then lost a 7-3 decision in the quarterfinals to Ty Lucas of Central Oklahoma, and was pinned by Will Evans of Newberry in a consolation match.

     He finished the season with a record of 9-3.
