Magistrate Court

Cassaundra Jo Merta, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to driving while license denied/suspended/ cancelled/revoked. She was fined $500 plus court costs. 

Savannah Raelynee Hi l ema n - S h e p h e r d , Monticello, pleaded guilty to no valid driver’s license. She was fined $200 plus court costs. 

Adam Lee Gersdorf, Anamosa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 4. 

Chett Aaron Miracle, Maquoketa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 15. 

Amber Nicole Anderson, Onslow, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 15. 

Holly Marie Bedenbender, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to two counts of 5th degree theft. She was sentenced to five days in jail, and fined a total of $250 plus court costs. 

Makayla Nicole Maschmann, Maquoketa, pleaded guilty to assault. She was fined $65 plus court costs. 

Daniel James Grother, Tipton, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 1st offense. A jury trial is set for Jan. 14. 

Charles Leroy Fellers, Monticello, was charged with operation without required ignition interlock. A preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 27. 

Michael Allen Kuper, Scotch Grove, pleaded not guilty to dog running at large. A non-jury trial is set for Dec. 18. 

Joshua Patrick Cudahy, Scotch Grove, was charged with dog running at large. A non-jury trial is set for Dec. 11. 

Lavonne Marie Portzline, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to dog running at large. She was fined $65 plus court costs. 

Jerrid Michael Boge, Monticello, was cited for violating City of Monticello Nuisance Code. A court date is set for Nov. 20.
