Magistrate Court

Chad Douglas Paulsen, Monticello, pleaded guilty to charges of driving while license under suspension, no proof of insurance and operating non-registered vehicle. Paulsen was fined a total of $645 plus court costs.

     Robert John Cowan, Anamosa, was found guilty to a charge of no proof of insurance. Cowan was fined a total of $615.63.

     Zachary Allen Matheny, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to a charge of no proof of insurance. Matheny was fined $325 plus court costs.

     Gregory Zalan Boul, Onslow, pleaded guilty to a charge of no valid driver’s license. Boul was fined $260 plus court costs.

     Kaylee Marie DeSotel, Monticello, pleaded guilty to a charge of allowing cat to run at large. DeSotel was assessed a $750 civil penalty.

     Tracy Lynn Jenks, Anamosa, was found guilty to a charge of fifth-degree theft. Jenks was fined $105 plus court costs.

     SamaJay Q. Nelson, Monticello, was found guilty to a charge of fifth-degree theft. Nelson was fined $105 plus court costs.
