Magistrate Court

     Hunter Gunnard Linne, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to speeding. He was fined $120 plus court costs.

     Anthony Michael Padilla, Jr., Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possessing/purchasing alcohol by person 18-19-20. He was fined $200 plus court costs.

     Reese Nicole Humpal, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to violation of minor’s restricted license. She was fined $65 plus court costs.

     Travis James Haylock, Maquoketa, had a charge of failure to stop in assured/clear distance, dismissed. He was ordered to pay court costs.

     Mandy Sue Riches, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. Judgment was deferred, and she was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $100 plus court costs. Riches was also placed on unsupervised probation for one year.

     Dustin Thomas Claussen, Monticello, pleaded guilty to 5th degree theft. He was fined $65 plus court costs.

     Brandy L. Burch, Martelle, pleaded not guilty to 5th degree theft. A non-jury trial is set for Feb. 21.

     Erica Abagail Sams, Olin, pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. A non-jury trial is set for Feb. 28.

     Christopher Warren Riches, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 1st offense. A non-jury trial is set for Feb. 28.            

     Allison Marie Whitenack, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to public intoxication and disorderly conduct-fighting/violent behavior. A non-jury trial is set for Feb. 28. Whitenack was also arrested for interference with official acts. A bench trial is set for Feb. 28.

     Frank Dewayne Dirks, Onslow, was arrested for domestic abuse assault 1st offense. A bench trial is set for Feb. 28.

     John Thomas Spalding, Anamosa, was arrested for interference with official acts, public intoxication, and violation of no-contact/protective order. A bench trial is set for Feb. 28.

     James Michael Hollister, Jr., Cedar Rapids, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 1st offense. A non-jury trial is set for Feb. 28.

     Zedekiah Lee Fisher, Anamosa, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 1st offense. A non-jury trial is set for Feb. 21.

     Socrates Antoine Harper, Anamosa, was arrested for public intoxication, disorderly conduct, and interference with official acts. A bench trial is set for Feb. 28.

     Tanner Hayzlett, Olin, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Jan. 10.
