Magistrate Court

     Thomas John Engelbart, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to manner of conveyance and open container. He was fined a total of $150 plus court costs.

     Brevin Kane Van Deest, Bernard, pleaded guilty to failure to maintain control. He was fined $100 plus court costs.

     Jason Michael Matus, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to driving while license denied, suspended, canceled, revoked. He was fined $250 plus court costs.

     Tanner Hayzlett, Olin, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and OWI. He was sentenced to two days in jail, and fined a total of $1,500 plus court costs.

     Danielle Marie Newell, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of assault and interference with official acts. She was fined a total of $315 plus court costs, and sentenced to two days in jail.

     Ian Matthew Lopez, Davenport, pleaded guilty to interference with official acts, disorderly conduct-fighting/violent behavior, and public intoxication. He was fined a total of $380 plus court costs.

     Keegan Terrance Hebert, Olin, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     Steven Thomas Byrne, Anamosa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for June 6.

     David Kenneth Austad, Anamosa, was arrested for public intoxication and disorderly conduct-fighting/violent behavior. No court date was set.

     Christopher Terence Moore, Monticello, pleaded not guilty to domestic abuse assault 1st offense. A non-jury trial is set for June 27.
