Magistrate Court

     Debra J. Byers, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to failure to obey stop sign and yield right of way. She was fined $100 plus court costs.

     Carrie Renee Haas, Monticello, pleaded guilty to operation of motor vehicle with expired license. She was fined $50 plus court costs.

     Anthony Michael Padillo, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to possessing/purchasing alcohol by person 18-19-20. He was fined $200 plus court costs.

     Sydney R. Beach, Dubuque, pleaded guilty to speeding. She was fined $40 plus court costs.

     Candace Rose O’Donnell-Meseraull, Martelle, pleaded guilty to driving under suspension. She was fined $250 plus court costs.

     Sondee Marie Geiger, Olin, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to 30 days in jail, with all but two days suspended. Geiger was placed on unsupervised probation, and fined $625 plus court costs.

     Jeffrey Craig Abbott, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of public intoxication. He was fined $100 plus court costs.

     Kyle Brandon Orcutt, Anamosa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 1. Orcutt was also charged with 5th degree criminal mischief and interference with official acts. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 22.

     Jamie Alan Boge, Anamosa, was charged with 5th degree theft and simple assault. A bench trial is set for Aug. 29.

     Dalton Charles Hughes, Cedar Rapids, was charged with 5th degree theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. A bench trial is set for Sept. 5.

     Jason Alan Parker, Anamosa, was charged with interference with official acts. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 22.

     Tyler Young Dudley, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to public intoxication. Judgment was deferred, and he was placed on unsupervised probation for one year. He was ordered to pay a civil penalty of $100 plus court costs.

     Patrick J. Kos, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to one day in jail.
