Magistrate Court

     Jessica Lynn Ricketts, Onslow, was found guilty of unsafe stopping. She was fined $35 plus court costs.

     Louis Johann Renken, Monticello, pleaded guilty to leaving the scene of an accident-property damage. He was fined $65 plus court costs, and ordered to pay victim restitution.

     Robert Reno Entsminger, Anamosa, pleaded guilty, by way of an Alford Plea, to 5th degree theft and simple assault. He was sentenced to five days in jail on each charge, to run concurrently, and fined a total of $130 plus court costs.

     Chris J. Phelps, Cedar Rapids, pleaded guilty to public intoxication. He was fined $65 plus court costs.

     Lucas James Tamayo, Cedar Rapids, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 27.

     William Joseph Tamayo, Cedar Rapids, was charged with false report to public entity and possession of drug paraphernalia. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 27.

     John Christopher Jacobson, Olin, pleaded not guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia. A non-jury trial is set for Sept. 26.

     Joshua Paul Yeisley, Springville, pleaded not guilty to public intoxication, assault and 5th degree criminal mischief. A non-jury trial is set for Sept. 26.

     Christopher O. Brissett, Maquoketa, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to have a valid driver’s license. A preliminary hearing is set for Aug. 27.

     Troy Michael Seeley, Anamosa, pleaded guilty to two counts of 5th degree theft. He was fined a total of $130 plus court costs.

     Angela Lee Pearson, Monticello, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. No court date was set.
