McDermotts celebrate 50th anniversary

      Howard and Carol (Daugherty) McDermott of Cascade will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with an anniversary trip to Las Vegas, Nev. and Phoenix, Ariz.

      Howard McDermott, Cascade, and Carol Daugherty, Springfield, Ill., were married on January 21, 1967 in Springfield, Ill. They are the parents of Carrie (Wayne) Manternach of Monticello. Their grandchildren are Ryan and Hayley.

      Howard is a Real Estate Agent and Appraiser and Carol is retired.
