McKean brings common sense, experience to race

To the Editor,

   Andy McKean announces his candidacy for Iowa House District 66.

   At last, a candidate we can whole-heartedly endorse and support.

   Andy McKean brings to the race honesty, experience, common sense, and civility.

   Along with these traits is his strong support for these important issues: More authority given to local governments; his concern for schools, hospitals, and nursing homes; and making sure law enforcement agencies are effective and well-funded.

   But what are admire most about Andy is that he listens to everybody, no matter who you are. If you have a good idea that is for the betterment of Iowa and its citizens, he will pursue it.

   So when you are considering a candidate to vote for this fall, please consider Andy McKean. We will.
