MHS speech students shine in district, conference contests

     A total of 19 Monticello High School speech students earned a total of 29 Division I ratings during the District Individual Speech Contest held Saturday, Feb. 25 in Tipton.

     This followed the River Valley Conference Individual Speech Contest Feb 20 at Bellevue, during which Monticello had seven place-winners, and had 16 students earn a total of 26 Division I ratings.
