Middle school girls finish third at Western Dubuque

CROSS COUNTRY

     Monticello had a pair of top-10 runners and finished third as a team in the girls’ race of the Western Dubuque Invitational middle school cross country meet Sept. 27 in Epworth.

     Emma Althoff finished second overall in the two-mile race with a time of 14 minutes, 5.0 seconds; while teammate Claire Tuetken was sixth.

     The Panther boys were fifth, led by Harrison Ahlrichs in 10th place and Dylan Ponder in 17th.
