Middle-schoolers race at Fillmore

CROSS COUNTRY

   The Monticello Middle School cross country teams tackled the grueling hills of Fillmore Fairways in the Cascade Invitational Sept. 15.

   The Panther boys finished seventh as a team, led by Alan Arriaga, who was 14th overall in 15:38.8 for the two-kilometer course.

   Emersen Verhagen was 15th in the girls’ race, in 17:06.1.
