Middle-schoolers snap school records

   School records have been falling recently, courtesy of the Monticello Middle School girls track and field team.

   Kenya Davis-Robinson set a new school record in the 100-meter dash during the Maquoketa Valley Invitational April 24. Her time was 13.00.

   Davis-Robinson also broke the MMS long jump record back on April 22 at the Maquoketa meet, with a leap of 15-2.5.

   Meanwhile, Mary Grace Lyons broke her own school record in the 1,500 at the Dyersville Beckman meet May 5, finishing in 5:16.23.
