Monticello Day means discounted tickets for Iowa game vs. Purdue

     Monticello Community Day with the Iowa Hawkeyes, presented by the Monticello Express and hosted by Bravo Sports Marketing, will be Saturday, Nov. 18 when the Iowa football team plays host to Purdue.

     Any member of the Monticello community can purchase an unlimited number of $50 group rate adult tickets and $25 youth tickets. The single game ticket price is $60 per seat.

     “We recognize that there is a significant number of Hawkeye fans in Monticello that may have never had the opportunity to visit Kinnick Stadium. We are offering discounts to make it more affordable to come the first time or to make a repeat visit,” said Dave Gallagher, vice president of Bravo Sports Marketing.

     “We hope the City of Monticello and its residents will have a significant presence in the stadium and that all enjoy a game day on the UI campus,” Gallagher added, noting that the ticket program is available to any community in the state.

     The record for ticket sales by one community was set several years ago by Grinnell, when it sold 526 tickets.
