Monticello Farmers Market

Hello, everyone. I do hope your week is a good one and this finds you well.

The Monticello Farmers Market is in full swing now and last Saturday was no exception. The rain that we all needed held off until late afternoon and the morning was beautiful.

Lots of good things to be had. Eggs, produce, Mission coffee, plants, and baked goods. Fresh farm meat, jarred salsa, local honey, jams, jellies, and handmade crafts. The cutest crocheted bees.  All of us were very busy and we do appreciate each one of you for your support and kind words.

This Saturday, July 1, our good friend from the market Mr. Pete Temple will be back with his musical singing talent. If you haven’t heard of him, you’re in for a treat. A great mix of songs for the young and old. Come to the market, grab a coffee and a baked treat, and sit at one of the picnic tables and relax for a bit.

The market is March through October every Wednesday from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8 to 11 a.m. rain or shine. The Monticello Farmers Market is in beautiful Willow Park located on E. Oak Street behind the Pizza Ranch.

When you are done with the market, go downtown and shop Monticello. We have some pretty good ice cream and great places to get some lunch too.
