Monticello Farmers Market

The last day of school is this week. Are you looking for a unique “Thank you” gift for a favorite teacher? The Monticello Farmers Market has gift certificates available.

The last day of school also means that parents are responsible for more meals. Involve the kids with meal planning, shopping and cooking. These are skills kids need to learn. Bring the kids to the Farmers Market to do some meal planning and shopping.

The WIC and Senior Nutrition coupons will be out soon. Please use these resources if you have them. We see so many coupons come in at the end of the season. Please use them throughout the season. The variety and quantities are much better in July and August than in October.

Be on the lookout for new vendors and welcome them to the market. There are a few that are planning to come try it out this summer.

Market days are Wednesday afternoon from 3-5:30 p.m. and Saturday morning from 8-11 a.m. The Monticello Farmers Market is located at Willow Shelter, next to Pizza Ranch.
