Monticello Farmers Market

Father’s Day is Sunday June 18 and we will be celebrating Dad at the market this week. Do you want a special sweet treat for Dad? Talk to our bakers on Wednesday if you would like a special order for pick-up on Saturday morning. Does Dad have a favorite pie or cookie? Maybe you want to make him breakfast? Farm fresh eggs, homemade bread and jam, fresh roasted coffee are all available at the market. Does Dad like to get outside and get dirty? Grab him a bar or two of homemade soap. One vendor has goat’s milk soap and another has a great soap with pumice for extra dirty hands. Bookmarks, caramel corn and flowers are great ideas too!

Bring Dad to the market on Saturday and enjoy some of the entertainment. Pete Temple will be joining us again. There are tables available so you can have a seat and a treat while listening to Pete. The library will also be at the market with a craft activity for the kids. There will also be cards and crayons for the kids to make a Father’s Day card.

We will also have our monthly market bag drawing this week. When you are at the market, sign up for the drawing. At the end of the market on both Wednesday and Saturday we will draw a winner. The winner will receive a custom market bag (sewn by one of our vendors) filled with items from our vendors. If you are not the winner on Wednesday be sure to sign up again on Saturday!

Each week we have been welcoming new vendors. Stop by and see what is new. Custom made jewelry and bags, hand dyed scarves, French bread and more!

The Monticello Farmers Market is held rain or shine.  The Wednesday market runs from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and the Saturday market is from 8 to 11 a.m. at Willow Shelter, next to Pizza Ranch.

See you at the market!
