Monticello Farmers Market

We have waited all winter for days like these! Sweet corn, green beans, kohlrabi, sugar snap peas, zucchini. Tomatoes will be plentiful soon. Daniel Miller and Duane Manternach have joined us at the market. Daniel is bringing a variety of vegetables and Duane is bringing sweet corn.

Farm fresh eggs are always at the market. Just look for the stuffed chicken. A couple of eggs for breakfast is a great start to the day. They are protein packed, low in calories, and quick and easy to prepare.

Homemade flavored pasta is also available. Cook the pasta and toss in some leftover veggies and meat for a quick and delicious supper.

This week we will have our monthly market bag drawing. Stop by on both Wednesday and Saturday to sign up to win a Monticello Farmers Market shopping bag full of items donated by our vendors.

The Monticello Farmers Market is held rain or shine.  The Wednesday market runs from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and the Saturday market is from 8 to 11 a.m at Willow Shelter, next to Pizza Ranch.
