Monticello Farmers Market

Did you enjoy fair week? It was HOT, wet, very busy and a lot of fun! This will be another busy week for our market vendors. Sweet corn, cucumbers, and zucchini are in full force (as are the weeds). Peppers and tomatoes are starting. The bakers will be busy making bread, cookies, cakes, pies, bars and jams. Homemade pasta, soap, cards, dog treats and gifts/crafts. Farm fresh eggs and flowers. Jewelry, yard art, and so much more.

Congratulations to our market bag drawing winners: Annette West and Marilyn Heiken. It is so fun to see the winner’s smiles when they see all of the goodies that they are taking home.

The Monticello Farmers Market is held rain or shine.  The Wednesday market runs from 3 to 5:30 p.m. and the Saturday market is from 8 to 11 a.m. at Willow Shelter, next to Pizza Ranch.
