Monticello Public Library News

     • Monday, Jan. 8 – STEAM Team with a NASA and International Space Station theme. No registration required. For ages 8 and up.

     • Thursday, Jan. 11, 6:30 p.m. – Arm Chair Traveler Series. Terry Smothers of Monticello will share about her trip to Nepal.

     • Saturday, Jan. 13, 10-11 a.m. – Daddy & Daughter Hair Workshop. Join in with your daughter, granddaughter, or little sister for a fun, hands-on workshop to learn some hair care basics with your young lady.

     Local stylists will be on hand to teach some simple techniques such as taking care of tangles, ponytail basics, simple braids and buns.

     Registration is appreciated. Call the library at 319-465-3354 to register.

     You are welcome to bring your own supplies. There will be new combs, detangler, and hair ties provided for the event.
