Monticello runners, and former Monticello residents, won all four divisions of the annual Panther Prowl 5K and 10K races Sept. 25.

Winning the 10K race were Kristofer Lyons of Monticello in the men’s division, and Katrina Stoffel of Waterloo (formerly of Monticello) among the women.

In the 5K race, Alex Oswald of Monticello was the male winner and Jazmine Reynolds of Cedar Rapids (formerly of Monticello) won the female division.

The race used a new route this year, starting and ending on Locust Street but also incorporating Oakwood Cemetery, Willow Trail, Riverside Gardens, and in the case of the 10K, River Road.

The event, coordinated by Andrea Hall of BE Strong Fitness and Yoga, raised funds for the Greater Monticello Foundation, which provides grants for local non-profits. A total of 41 people finished one race or the other.

A kids’ fun run was held as well, won by Graham Hunt and Amelia Mae Lyons, both 7 years old and both from Monticello.

   Results follow.
