Moser attends USTA Congress

     Moser School of Dance & Gymnastics instructor Debbie Moser of Dyersville attended the 2017 USTA National Congress and Clinics September 22-24 in Springboro, Ohio.

     Moser was one of the featured Congress Clinicians for the tumbling sessions given during the full day of workshops/clinics to the many clubs and coaches attending from across the United States. The three days consisted of technical meetings, workshops in all levels, coaches’ certification classes and tests, judges’ courses, rule proposals and changes, state chair meetings, safety meetings, ethics meetings, awards recognitions, nationals bids for 2019, and the Congress meeting.

     The Moser coaches, all certified, have been teaching area students for 40-plus years in dance and gymnastics. The students perform in various dance and gymnastics recitals and shows throughout each year.

     Bernita Moser of Strawberry Point is on the Ethics Board, Carmen Moser Payne of Edgewood and Kattie Payne Schulte of Strawberry Point head up the Moser competition team, and Debbie Moser was the USTA president for 18 years, has been on the USTA Technical Board for 23 years, has been a certified judge for 18-plus years, and has been the State of Iowa USTA Chair for four years.

     Moser studio locations are in Monticello, Manchester, Dyersville, Independence, Strawberry Point, Elkader, Clermont, Guttenberg, and Edgewood; teaching boys and girls ages 3 thru adult in tap, jazz/hip-hop, ballet and gymnastics.
