Moser competes in Illinois event

     Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic area athletes recently competed and placed well in the USTA Power Tumbling meet held in Woodhull, Ill. on Oct. 22.

     There were 15 teams entered with around 500 athletes competing throughout the day. Area gymnasts who placed well are listed below.

     First place: Melanie Lutgen, Carter Phillips, Kennedy Bulman, Megan Pierschbacher, Addison Norton, Kaley Polfer, Tucker Erickson, Madelyn Bockenstedt, Kallyn Henney, Kylee McElmeel and Melayna Steils.

     Second place: Annie Gulick, Hannabelle Erickson, Cheyenne Varner, Katelin Ante, Kyle Peck, Mikya Britton, Madelyn Troester, Ella Davidshofer, Ella Digmann and Delaney Brown.

     Third place: Kreighton Peck, Laura Pierschbacher and Aaliyah Rosenthal.

     Fourth place: Reagan Brown, Gabrielle Guilford, Isabel Lutgen, Taylor Mullis and Brynn Burlage.

     Fifth place: Brooklin Ante, Kennedi Bevans and Aubrey Wilson.

     Sixth place: Paige Kremer, Madison Butterworth, Ella Glawatz, Savanna Lehman and Brinlee Ameson.

     Seventh place: Kendall Wagner and Alexa Ries.

     “Many Moser athletes have moved up levels, have new routines within their levels, or are new to competition,” said Debbie Moser, who co-coaches the team. “All look forward to meeting their goals they have set, the chance to compete their talents, and experience new challenges. They continue to train and work hard to achieve to the best of their ability for the upcoming meets.

     “We appreciate the hard work and dedication of all our Moser team members and their families.”

     Moser coaches are Carmen Moser Payne, Edgewood, Debbie Moser, Dyersville, and Bernita Moser and Kattie Payne Schulte of Strawberry Point.
