Moser has five champions, 47 top-10 finishes at nationals

TUMBLING

     Moser School of Dance and Gymnastics competed in the 2018 USTA Power Tumbling Championships held June 11-16 in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Moser School had 75 National Qualifiers entered. Five of them earned national championship titles and 47 earned the top 10 titles.

     There were more than 2,000 athletes and more than 140 teams entered, with many ages and levels having as many as 70 total competitors vying for titles.

     Mosers national champions are Kennedy Bulman, Hayleigh Thomas, Madilyn Payne, Laura Pierschbacher and Ava Seevell.

     Other students who finished in the top 10 follow.

     Second place: Carter Phillips, Age Group Elite, Kylie Belinsky, Madelyn Troester, Allysa Sadewasser, Ella Digmann, Aaliyah Rosenthal and Kendalyn Belinsky.

     Third place: Memphis Voelker, Maddesyn Demmer, Tucker Erickson, Ella Vaughn, Lexus Fleming, Lilly Shaw, Kadee Batterson, Grace Anton, Delaney Brown and Lainey Payne.

     Fourth place: Reagan Dolan, Gabrielle Guilford, Kendall Wagner, Elyse Konrardy, Memphis Peyton, Kallyn Henney, Ella Krivanek and Julia Kuennen.

     Fifth place: Katie Fitzgerald, Allie Esmann, Megan Pierschbacher and Leigha Hinrichs.

     Sixth place: Melanie Lutgen, Isabel Lutgen, Taylor Mullis, Brynn Burlage, Makenna Payne and Myra Peyton.

     Seventh place: Ella Davidshofer, Kaleah Belinsky and Malin Phelps.

     Eighth place: Ingrid Vaughn.

     Ninth place: Lily Schmitz and Kaia Engelhardt.

     Tenth place: Phillip Johnson.

     Other Moser athletes placing well and winning flight medals are: Hannabelle Erickson, Makayla Gasper, Annie Gulick, Michelle Stelken, Olivia Their, Reagan Brown, Paige Kremer, Madelyn Schmitz, Logan Bevans, Claire Wiese, Rachel Everman, Ava Nolan, Isabel Markham, Kennedi Bevans, Grace Funke, Erin Dittmer, Isabella Johnson, Ella Oberbreckling, Hannah Seevell, Georgia Werger, Madelyn Bockenstedt, Keyra Thomas, Abigayle Johnson, Brynn Bucknell, Hadlee Erickson and Elizabeth Hilliard.

     Carter Phillips competed in the Age Group Elite prelims and made it to finals, winning second overall, and also competed in Open Elite and placed 11th.

     “We are truly excited about our athletes’ performances at the national level of competition,” Moser co-coach Debbie Moser said. “They all did fabulous and we are so very proud of each and everyone of our students for their dedication, hard work, sportsmanship, and loyalty to our school and to the sport. We appreciate all our athletes, parents, grandparents, and families for their support and dedication to their children and to our school.

     Next year’s USTA State Meet will be April 28, 2019; and Nationals will be in Charleston, W.V. June 17-22.

     Coaches for the Moser School of Dance and Gymnastics, Beginner through Elite Levels, are Debbie Moser, Carmen Moser Payne, Bernita Moser, Kattie Payne Schulte and Luka Marie Schulte.
