Moser students shine at Rock Island meet

     Moser School of Dance and Gymnastic area athletes recently competed and placed well in the USTA Power Tumbling meet held in Rock Island, Ill. on Nov. 12.

     There were 25 teams entered with around 550 athletes competing throughout the day. Area gymnasts who placed well are as follows:

     First place: Carter Phillips, Katelin Ante, Jacinda McDermott, Kennedy Bulman, Elizabeth Recker, Natalie Besler, Tucker Erickson, Amy Morris, Makenna Payne, Madilyn Payne, Lainey Payne, Aaliyah Rosenthal and Harper Green.

     Second place: Melanie Lutgen, Isabel Lutgen, Reagan Dolan, Gabrielle Guilford, Taylor Mullis, Megan Pierschbacher, Aubrey Wilson, Emma Fisher, Mayliegh Medberry, Ella Digmann, Vivian Clar, Brody Ries and Melayna Steils.

     Third place: Myra Clasen, Savanna Lehman, Autumn Domeyer, Elyse Konrardy, Kirsten Farmer, Emi Harmon, Madelyn Pope and Brinlee Ameson.

     Fourth place: Hannabelle Erickson, Whitney Long, Ella Glawatz, Lizzie Royer, Ella Oberbreckling, Kaitlyn Besler, Katie Royer, Addison Norton, Ella Davidshofer, Kylee McElmeel and Josi Munger.

     Fifth place: Gertrude Wall, Annie Gulick, Keziah McQuillen, Kate Green, Ava Zimmerman, Makayla Cuellar, Ryan Carlson, Madelyn Bockenstedt, Memphis Peyton, Myra Peyton, Lilly Shaw and Laura Pierschbacher.

     Sixth place: Paige Kremer, Brooklin Ante, Kennedi Bevans, Lexi Opitz, Payton Erickson, Lexus Fleming, Hayden Carlson and Maya Cuellar.

     Seventh place: Emma Bockenstedt, Alexa Ries and Kaley Polfer.

     Eighth place: Elizabeth Hilliard and Madison Butterworth.

     “Many Moser atheltes have moved up levels, have new routines within their levels, or are new to competition and all look forward to meeting their goals they have set, the chance to compete their talents, and experience new challenges,” said Moser co-coach Debbie Moser. “They continue to train and work hard to achieve to the best of their ability for the upcoming meets.

     “We appreciate the hard work and dedication of all our Moser team members and their families, from Sub-beginners through Elite levels.”
