New logo

Last week, the new City of Monticello logo was complete on the north water tower. Utility Service Co., Inc., out of Georgia, is the contractor on the water tower painting project. In February, the City Council approved the painting of the tower, at a cost of approximately $396,000. Work on the project began in early May, with cellular/Internet towers having to be relocated for a short period of time. (Photos by Kim Brooks)
