     The City of Monticello has many openings on several boards: one on Parks and Rec., three on the Airport Board, one on the Cemetery Board, one on the Planning and Zoning Commission, five on the Soldiers Memorial Board, and two on the Tree Board.

     Parks and Rec board members serve three-year terms, and they meet the second Monday of the month. The Airport Board members serve five-year terms, and meet the first Tuesday of the month. The Cemetery Board members serve six-year terms, and meet the second Tuesday of the month. Planning and Zoning members serve five-year terms, and meet the fourth Tuesday of the month. The Soldiers Memorial Board members serve three-year terms. The Tree Board members serve five-year terms, and meet as needed.
