Clarification

An article in the Sept. 1 Express about the Jones County Freedom Rock, as shared at a recent Jones County Supervisor meeting, stated that the board of supervisors agreed to be a fiscal sponsor for the Freedom Rock Committee as they apply for grants.

County Auditor Whitney Hein shared an update stating that the Stone City Foundation was contacted and agreed to be the committee’s grant sponsor instead of the county.
