Now is the time to support change

To the Editor,

     If you are a Democrat who did not get to the off-year caucuses, March 11, you may want to know that it was a very worthwhile gathering.

     Iowa State Representative Abby Finkenauer of Dubuque gave an impressive talk about what has been happening at the State House, and of her interest in possibly running for the U.S. 1^st Congressional District.

     If you are concerned about how we are, or (ARE NOT), being represented in the State House or Congress, get involved. Abby has a lot to offer, is online, and would be glad to visit with you by phone, and etc.

     I asked her what it will take for her to decide to run for Congress. She said, she needed to know she had the support that it takes to accomplish a successful campaign and election to that post.

     Tod Bowman gave his views on what is happening at the State House as well; all interesting and concerning to the future of Iowa and we Iowans!

     If anything is going to change it is time to get serious, pay serious attention, support and do the footwork for Change-makers like Abby and Tod.
