O’Reilly Auto Parts car show has great weekend in Monticello


The Monticello Chamber Ambassadors welcomed and visited with Henry Winkler, celebrity guest at this year’s 49th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Rod & Custom Car Show, Feb. 24-25. Jerry Lindner of Monticello is the owner of this 1969 Road Runner. The car was restored in 2013, and was a hit at the car show this weekend.

Randy and Kendra Pejchl of Monticello showed off their 1970 Chevelle SS396 at the Monticello car show.

     Henry Winkler, The Fonz from the hit TV show “Happy Days,” was on hand at this year’s 49th Annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Rod & Custom Car Show, presented by KCRG-TV9. The event took place Feb. 24-25 at the Monticello Berndes Center in Monticello, Iowa.

     Below are the results of the judging contest. Owners of winning entries received Muller Brothers Trophies and Citizens State Bank cash awards.

     Entries came from six states: Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Nebraska, New Mexico, and Wisconsin.
