     Sport: Golf.

     Awards received: Three-year varsity letter-winner.

     Season goals: To be in the top three in the River Valley Conference this year, and also advance to districts and State.

     I like this sport because: It’s such an underrated sport and anyone can be good at it with work.

     What is something the average person doesn’t know about your sport? A long time ago, putting greens used to be sand, not grass.

     Biggest sports thrill as a participant: Winning the RVC North in the conference meet last year.

     Pre-competition rituals/superstitions: Every time I shoot my best round of the year, I keep that scorecard in my bag and whenever I’m struggling in a meet I pull it out and look at it.

     Biggest academic accomplishment: Managing to keep a 3.5 GPA throughout high school.

     Biggest influence: My dad.

     Favorite male athlete: Jordan Spieth or Nicholas Baer.

     Favorite female athlete: Megan Gustafson.
