Panther soloists earn high ratings at ISDTA State

     Six Monticello High School dance team members competed in the Iowa State Dance Team Association (ISDTA) State Solo Competition Nov. 3-4 in Newton.

     All six of the Panthers earned Division I ratings and placed in the top 20.

     Out of 80 dancers in Class 4, Anisa Krouse took fifth place, Nicole Smith was sixth, Emma Brighton placed eighth, followed by Ally Bartachek in 10th, Sydney Freeze in 17th and Kaitlin Guyer in 18th.

     “We’re so proud of them,” Monticello coach Amanda Hackney said.
