Panthers celebrate season with awards

BOYS BASKETBALL

     The Monticello High School boys basketball team celebrated its season with an awards banquet Friday, April 7 in the MHS Commons.

     The team finished the season with a record of 11-12 under head coach Tim Lambert, including 8-9 in the River Valley Conference.

     The list of award-winners follows.

 

     Most valuable – Jacob Manternach, junior.

     Most Improved – Josh White, senior; and Alex Nealson, junior.

     Top Defensive Player – Alex Nealson.

     Captains’ Awards – Andy Tjaden, senior; and Jacob Manternach.

     Craig Welter Leadership Award – Andy Tjaden.
