Panthers reap season awards

     Jordan Kuper earned Iowa Girls Coaches Association (IGCA) All-State honors, and a total of six members of the Monticello High School girls basketball team received special recognition from this past season.

     Included were two IGCA All-Star selections for a series of games that were cancelled due the spread of COVID-19, two All-Region players, and five All-Conference players.

     Kuper, a senior, made the IGCA All-State third team after averaging 12.2 points and 9.9 rebounds per game, and recording 24 blocks for the 18-6 Panthers.

     The team was coached by Donnie Kremer. A list of Panther award-winners follows.
