   Monticello dominated three opponents in its first home meet of this girls track and field season, April 13 at Dean Nelson Field.

   The Panthers totaled 168 points, winning by 64 over runner-up Midland. In the process, the hosts racked up seven wins and 19 top-three finishes.

   Monticello won three relays: the distance medley, the 4x400 and the 4x800.

   The Panthers went one-two in the 1500 with Emma Althoff winning and Halle Recker finishing second. In two events, Monticello had the first and third place finishers: the 400 (Marisa Kehoe and Olivia Zimmerman, respectively), and the 800 (Leah Koehler, Jessica Stadtmueller).

   Also winning was Dori Paddock in the shot put with a throw of 32-foot-3.
