Panthers shine at Stack the Stands

     The Monticello High School Panther dance team competed at the Stack the Stands Competition Oct. 27 at Cedar Rapids Prairie High School.

     The Panthers earned team and individual awards in several categories at the event. The team is coached by Amanda Hackney.

TEAM AWARDS

     Pom: 1, Monticello; 2, Marion; 3, Maquoketa.

     Lyrical: 1, Monticello, 2, Lone Tree; 3, Dyersville Beckman.

     Jazz: 1, Iowa City Regina; 2, Monticello; 3, Marion.

SOLO AWARDS

     Senior Division: 6, Nicole Smith.

     Junior Division: 2, Anisa Krouse; 7, Emma Brighton.

     Sophomore Division: 6, Ally Bartachek; 7, Sydney Freeze; 9, Kaitlin Guyer.

     Freshman Division: 2, Kelsey Adams.
