Pizza Ranch helps support Camp Courageous

     For the duration of the 2018 Jones County Fair, Pizza Ranch will be accepting donations for Camp Courageous while also donating 3 percent of sales for the entire week.

     Starting July 16, Pizza Ranch will be working alongside Camp Courageous to collect donations for the camp while Monticello enjoys the influx of traffic from fair attendees. The store will continue to collect donations until the end of day on Monday, July 23.

     Customers can donate in front of Pizza Ranch where their staff will be selling pizza and Cactus Bread by the slice. They may also donate inside at the front counter. With designated Iowa State University and University of Iowa containers, the store’s staff is eager to find out which state school will take the lead for donations at the end of the week.

     In addition to the funds raised through donations, owners Katie and Nicholas Danover have pledged to donate 3 percent of sales from the store for the same time period surrounding the fair.

     “We really feel that the increase in foot traffic for our business is the perfect way to help catapult an area organization that does so much good for our community. Their staff and campers are a joy to be around and make smiling infectious every time we see them,” said Katie.

     Both Pizza Ranch and Camp Courageous are excited for the event, and all the incredible people the Jones County Fair brings in. Staff from both organizations will be sporting special shirts with the event’s tagline, “Supporting Smiles One Slice at a Time.”
