May 6 

3:09 a.m. – The police responded to, but was unable to locate, a motor vehicle accident in the 500 block of S. Main St. 

6:50 a.m. – Police responded to a call about a suspicious person/vehicle on W. Fourth St. 

7:01 a.m. – Police responded to a call about a suspicious person/vehicle in the 600 block of Hillcrest Dr. 

9:29 a.m. – Police responded to a miscellaneous call in the 200 block of E. Grand St. 

5:50 p.m. – Police responded to a complaint in the 300 block of S. Maple St. 

6:22 p.m. – Police received a call about a harassment/ stalking/threat in the 100 block of W. Buckeye St. 

May 7 

9:43 a.m. – Police responded to a report of business theft in the 200 block of E. Grand St. 

9:49 a.m. – Police responded to a complaint in the 100 block of W. Buckeye St. 

12:05 p.m. – Police received a traffic complaint from County Road X-44 south of 190th St. 

4:44 p.m. – Police assisted another agency in the 100 block of W. Buckeye St. 

8:34 p.m. – Police responded to a disturbance on River Rd. 

May 8 

7:35 a.m. – Police assisted a motorist near First St. and N. Cedar St. 

4:21 p.m. – Police received a call about a harassment/ stalking/threat in the 200 block of N. Maple St. 

7:51 p.m. – Police received a call about a harassment/ stalking/threat in the 400 block of W. Sixth St. 

May 9 

8:51 a.m. – Police responded to a complaint in the alley of the 200 block of E. First St. 

10:29 a.m. – Police responded to a residential theft in the 100 block of N. Sycamore St. 

2:06 p.m. – Police investigated a possible nuisance at 420 E. Third St. 

4:37 p.m. – Police responded to a call about a suspicious person/vehicle in the 300 block of E. Second St. Dalton Hughes was arrested for two counts of assault on persons in certain occupations, possession of drug paraphernalia, and disorderly conduct-abusive/ threatening. 

5:26 p.m. – Police assisted a business in the 300 block of S. Locust St. 

10:38 p.m. – Police arrested Allen Osterkamp in the 200 block of N. Maple St. for possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense and possession of drug paraphernalia. They also arrested Timothy Foster for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and possession of drug paraphernalia. 

May 10 

7:28 a.m. – The police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Highway 151 southbound near exit 63. 

9:39 a.m. – Police assisted the public in the 100 block of W. First St. 

10:27 a.m. – Police assisted a motorist at S. Main and Bradley. 

11:07 a.m. – Police responded to a theft incident in the 300 block of S. Locust St. 

3:33 p.m. – Police assisted the public in the 500 block of E. Oak St. 

8:54 p.m. – Police performed a warrant check in the 100 block of Celgo Ave. Elijah Dowell was arrested for outstanding warrant and failure to appear. 

11:58 p.m. – Police assisted a motorist on Business Highway 151 North. 

May 11 

4:59 a.m. – Police responded to an alarm in the 100 block of W. South St. 

2:20 p.m. – Police handled a civil complaint in the 600 block of N. Cedar St. 

3:54 p.m. – Police responded to a theft in the 400 block of S. Locust St. 

10:05 p.m. – Police responded to vandalism in the 300 block of E. First St. 

May 12 

9:33 a.m. – Police assisted the public in the 200 block of E. South St. 

12:53 p.m. – Police responded to a call about a suspicious person/vehicle in the 600 block of N. Maple St. 

4:57 p.m. – Police responded to a complaint in the 300 block of S. Cedar St. 

7:57 p.m. – Police responded to a call about a suspicious person/vehicle on County Road E-17.
