Letter to the Editor

     We are actively moving forward, Friends of the Dam. There has been overwhelming support to do so, from Monticello, and surrounding areas of Jones County. If you are 18 or older, and have not yet signed a petition to keep the Mon Maq Dam, please do so. The petitions will be located at businesses throughout Jones County. Results of petitions so far have reached over 3,800 plus, from the Monticello Community and the surrounding area.
