Schrobilgen wins football contest

   Kevin Schrobilgen of Monticello missed just two games to win this week’s Express Football Contest, which ended up being very competitive. For his efforts, Kevin will garner the $20 first place prize.

     Several contestants missed five games, so second place came down to tiebreaker score. (Panther game score was 44 points) Jo Ann Kehoe ended up closest to that score with a 45, good for the $10 prize.

     Others who missed five games, and their tie-breaker scores, include: guest picker Tom Brokaw III, B&E Insurance (42), Mike Jacobs, Monticello (47), Gertie Sieverding, Cascade (40), CJ Kehoe, Monticello (39), Kris Riley, Monticello (51), Ed Stecklein, Monticello (51) and Dave Brehm, Monticello (34).

     The other guest picker, Brian Lubben of Fidelity Bank & Trust, missed six games. This weeks contest had 55 entries.
