Sheriff's Report

     A car versus deer accident took place on March 18 at 7:57 p.m. on Highway 136. Thomas Benjamin Welch, 76, of Anamosa, was driving a 2005 Lincoln Towncar when a deer ran from the east ditch into the path of the vehicle. No injuries were reported. Welch’s vehicle sustained approximately $6,000 in damages.
