Sheriff's Report

     A semi vs. cow accident took place on April 2 at 5:39 a.m. on Highway 64. Eric Joseph Eganhouse, 62, of Wyoming was driving a 2014 Volvo Semi eastbound as he came up a hill. He saw two cows on the roadway and was unable to stop before striking one. Eganhouse was uninjured. Damage to the semi was estimated at $5,000.

     A car versus deer accident took place on April 2 at 2:40 p.m. on Highway 151. Jack Robert Fader, 45, of Anamosa was driving a 2009 Honda Fit when he encountered a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Fader’s vehicle sustained approximately $1,500 in damages.

     A car versus deer accident took place on April 5 at 7:40 a.m. on County Road E-45. Tiffany Ann Wink, 44, of Lowden was driving a 2019 Ford Edge when she encountered a deer in the roadway. No injuries were reported. Wink’s vehicle sustained approximately $10,000 in damages.
