Sheriff's Report

     A one-vehicle accident occurred Monday, June 9, at 8:30 p.m. on County Road E-23. Rachael Jacquelyn Vanderlugt, 34, Cedar Rapids, driving a 2011 Ford Fusion, was traveling west of County Road E-23 and struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Approximately $2,000 damage was done to the vehicle.

     A one-vehicle accident occurred Saturday, June 7, at 10:19 p.m. on Highway 151. Cayden William Rushford, 17, Anamosa, driving a 2015 Jeep SUV, struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Approximately $5,000 damage was done to the vehicle.

     A one-vehicle accident occurred Wednesday, June 4, at 8:23 p.m. on 80^th Street. Ryan Matthew Wageman, 29, Anamosa, driving a 2000 GMC pick-up, was traveling north on Highway 38 and attempted to turn left onto 80^th Street when he fishtailed making the turn losing control of the vehicle on the gravel of 80^th Street and ended up in the south ditch on all four tires. No injuries were reported. Approximately $1,000 damage was done to the vehicle.

     A one-vehicle accident occurred Wednesday, June 4, at 8:45 p.m. on Highway 64. Wendy Ann Saddoris, 67, Clinton, driving a 2025 Lexus, struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Approximately $5,000 damage was done to the vehicle.

     A one-vehicle accident occurred Wednesday, June 4, at 5:45 p.m. on Highway 151. Russell William Farnum, 57, Cedar Rapids, driving a 2013 Volvo, struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Approximately $5,000 damage was done to the vehicle.
