Sheriff's Report

     A one-vehicle accident took place on June 6 at 1:05 p.m. on 13^th Street. Madison Lynn Lambert, 17, of Monticello was driving a 2007 Chevy Impala when she left the roadway and entered the ditch. According to the Sheriff’s report Lambert ramped over the street, with the vehicle coming to rest on its wheels. Lambert sustained minor injuries. Her vehicle sustained approximately $4,500 in damages.

     A car versus deer accident took place on June 7 at 8:21 a.m. on Highway 38. Joshua C. Maring, 24, of Moline, Ill., was driving a 2015 Chevy Express G2500 when he came into contact with the deer. No injuries were reported. Maring’s vehicle sustained approximately $5,000 in damages.
