Sheriff's Report

     A car versus deer accident took place on April 9 at 8:12 p.m. on Highway 151. Daniel R. Mai, 43, of Elizabeth, Ill., was driving a 2012 Toyota SUV when he encountered a deer on the roadway. No injuries were reported. Mai’s vehicle sustained approximately $1,500 in damages.

     A car versus deer accident took place on April 11 at 11:52 p.m. on Highway 151. Leland W. Dochterman, 64, of Mount Horeb, Wis., was driving a 2016 Honda passenger van when he encountered a deer on the roadway. No injuries were reported. Dochterman’s vehicle sustained approximately $5,000 in damages.

     A car versus deer accident took place on April 12 at 5:52 a.m. on Highway 64. Joshua Ray Kaczinski, 34, of Delmar, was driving a 1998 Buick LeSabre when he encountered a deer on the roadway. No injuries were reported. Kaczinski’s vehicle sustained approximately $5,000 in damages.
