Sheriff's Report

     A one-vehicle accident took place on Jan. 18 at 9:35 p.m. on County Road E-34. Tiffany Renea Schroeder, 23, of Anamosa, was driving a 2008 Ford Focus when she hit a patch of ice on the roadway. While trying to regain control of the vehicle, Schroeder over corrected and entered the ditch, striking a utility pole. She sustained possible minor injuries. There was $200 in damages to the utility pole owned by Alliant Energy. Schroeder’s vehicle sustained approximately $10,000 in damages.
