     Thank YOU, Monticello area residents and organizations!

     As Monticello Area Chamber of Commerce (MACC), Inc. board members, your support for our #ShopLocal #ShopSmall MACC Chamber Bucks program has exceeded all expectations. To date, over $42,000 in Chamber Bucks has been purchased.

     We are proud to have led the way along with the help of our members, in keeping this money circulating in our local economy during a most unusual business climate. For every dollar spent locally, 67 cents stays in the community helping that business owner and their family thrive. And most local business owners #ShopLocal as well!

     As we are frequently reminded, it’s important to support the local businesses that support each of us throughout the year. Nobody heads out-of-town to ask somebody to support their kids’ little league team or church or charity event. So, it’s the right thing to do to go to the people who support you all year when you shop.

     You might not realize it, but every time you take a yoga class, get a haircut, purchase a clothing item, or spend an evening out, you’re #ShoppingSmall and making a difference.

     As we continue our work at the MACC, our member businesses and our community will always come first. A rising tide floats all boats and together we lift each other. Again, thank YOU for making our MACC member organizations your first choice by purchasing and using MACC Chamber Bucks!
