Sit & Get Fit

In promoting Heart Health Month in February, Above & Beyond invites all senior citizens to take part in Sit & Get Fit classes at the Monticello Berndes Center. The classes are led and instructed by Carol Janssen with Above & Beyond. This is the fourth year for the senior exercise program. Janssen describes the program as a total body workout while sitting. Participants work on their upper body, core, and balance while standing. Aside from the Berndes Center, Sit & Get Fit classes are also led at Pennington Square, Pinicon Place, and River Bend.
