Small Business Week

Prior to the start of the May 6 Monticello City Council meeting, Mayor Brian Wolken read a proclamation declaring May 5-11 Small Business Week. Chamber Director Jan Hoag was present to accept the proclamation. There are 30 million small businesses in the U.S. that create new jobs, spur the economy, support entrepreneurs, and preserve the unique culture of small towns. (Photo by Kim Brooks)
